Daggett Shuler, Attorneys At law, is proud to be part of our community.  Our Safe Sober Prom Night program is celebrating 20 years and continues to give our young people encouragement, guidance, leadership, and support in an environment of positive peer pressure. 
 
Professionally, we dedicate ourselves to helping those who have suffered a wrongful injury or death.   Our team of lawyers and professional staff help children, individuals, and families who have been wrongfully injured, are disabled, or hurt at work, including cyclists and athletes.   In addition to our extensive experience in personal injury and claims processing, we also have a board-certified specialists in Workers' Compensation law (Griff Shuler) and in Social Security disability law (John Koontz).

David D. Daggett – Founder
David is a founder of  the Safe Sober Prom Night Program which began in 1991.  David is experienced in assisting clients with all types of injury cases, including serious injuries, wrongful death, and insurance claims. It was his dedication and concern for injured people that led him wanting to assist teens in making smart choices that can save countless lives and prevent life-changing injuries.

A graduate of Wake Forest University Law School, David is designated a North Carolina "Super Lawyer" by Law and Politics and Charlotte Magazine, past-Chair of the North Carolina Conference of Bar Presidents, past President of the Forsyth County Bar and 21st Judicial District Bar Associations, as well as past-President of The Young Lawyers Association.

He is also a dedicated athlete who has completed over 150 triathlons including 18 Ironman competitions.  He has received the Ford Ironman Everyday Hero Award for his work with youth in the community.  As part of this recognition, David has been featured world wide on ESPN and on Universal TV which can be seen HERE.

David D. Daggett helped found the Safe Sober program in 1991. Since that time, they have received several awards for their service to the community. In 1995, they were given the North Carolina Governor's Highway Safety Award for Public Service. They were the first law firm to win the award that is given to individuals who voluntarily and effectively raise awareness of the dangers of driving while impaired and who have successfully implemented an anti-DWI program in their community. In 1996, they were again rewarded for their community efforts with the American Bar Association Award for Dignity in Lawyer Advertising for their promotion of Safe and Sober Prom Night, Inc.
